But my friends call me Shua. I’m a graphic designer, video editor, web designer and animator! Digital art has been a passion of mine since I was 10 years old, and I’m lucky enough to do it for a career. Growing up in Canada, I was fortunate enough to attend a “project based learning” school that focused heavily on technology. I took my first flash animation and graphic design course when I was only in 6th grade, and it was a part of the school’s curriculum! My love for digital art was cemented early on, and I continued to teach myself graphic design after moving to United States. I attended the Plattsburgh State University of New York, where I dual-majored in Digital Media and Television production, and minored in graphic Design. After graduating (and a 7 month stint in the Disney College Program), I began my first full time digital media job. Since 2019 I’ve been working as a graphic designer, digital media artist, and web designer for Exemplars, inc. Outside Exemplars, I enjoy doing freelance projects (most often for local musicians). A majority of my freelance work has been creating lyric videos and promotional art for independent punk bands.
